This flat slab has a crack across it, and is half covered in moss. The inscription reads:
Tarbet…../ 17… / (John?) and ….son who / died the 20 of ..17.2 aged..years / And here …the remains of Cathrine Mc… his spouse…
(This may be marked as number 44 in the 1969 list, which gives the inscription as: Allan Campbell late (tenant) in Tarbet 17.2.(1791) (67); wife Cath McLachlan 26.-.1800 aged 87, son John 26.10.1792 aged 4-; 1801)
